Welcome.

My name is Lori Simon.  All my life I've been passionate about sewing and creating  works of art, using time-tested techniques that result in exquisite, one-of-a-kind creations. I love using my artistic skills to elevate the quality of each and every project I embrace, creating  environments that enhance lives.  For over 30 years, I've created artist teddy bears, upcycling materials such as natural fur, linen, hemp, silk, wool and cotton. 

 

Over the past couple of years I've been offering my skills painting custom furniture and tailoring slip covers for upholstered pieces, creating home environments that are updated, and new by responsibly upcycling the belongings we already own and cherish.  This website illustrates the work I am currently involved in.  It shows an example of my work but does not reflect the ideas waiting to become accomplishments.
